On Tuesday November 28th SASI will participate in Giving Tuesday, a 24-hour event in which thousands of nonprofits spanning the globe band together to help raise money and reinforce the concept of giving.
Thanks to a matching grant from The Retirement Research Foundation, all donations, including yours, will be matched dollar for dollar between November 20 and December 1, 2017 (up to $5,000)!

November 11, 2017 was the annual Senior Connections fall luncheon at Reba Place Fellowship Hall. 72 seniors and volunteer visitors attended. Their was a scrumptious buffet lunch, a pumpkin decorating art project led by Evanston Art Center volunteers. Pumpkins were generously donated by Windy City garden Center in Evanston.
The Ruby Slipper Event was held at the Evanston Golf Club in Skokie on Saturday, October 21.This annual benefit featured dinner, silent and live auctions and celebrated our Senior Connections programs. The featured speaker was S. Jay Olshanksy.
The benefit proceeds support our Home Care and Senior Connections programs.
Tapestry of Friendship
Save the Date and mark your calendar now for The Tapestry of Friendship, spring fundraiser, Saturday May 19, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Once again this event will benefits Senior Connections, a program of SASI. The event will be at the historic Charles Gates Dawes House, 225 Greenwood St, Evanston, IL. Be sure to join us for an afternoon of refreshments, drawings for unique prizes and live auction. We aren't taking reservations quite yet but tickets will be $75.00
