News & Notes

After Thanksgiving. After Black Friday. After Small Business Saturday. After Cyber Monday. It's Giving Tuesday.

On Tuesday November 28th SASI will participate in Giving Tuesday, a 24-hour event in which thousands of nonprofits spanning the globe band together to help raise money and reinforce the concept of giving.

Thanks to a matching grant from The Retirement Research Foundation, all donations, including yours, will be matched dollar for dollar between November 20 and December 1, 2017 (up to $5,000)!

That’s making your donation count DOUBLE!

November 11, 2017 was the annual Senior Connections fall luncheon at Reba Place Fellowship Hall. 72 seniors and volunteer visitors attended. Their was a scrumptious buffet lunch, a pumpkin decorating art project led by Evanston Art Center volunteers. Pumpkins were generously donated by Windy City garden Center in Evanston.

The Ruby Slipper Event was held at the Evanston Golf Club in Skokie on Saturday, October 21.This annual benefit featured dinner, silent and live auctions and celebrated our Senior Connections programs. The featured speaker was S. Jay Olshanksy.

The benefit proceeds support our Home Care and Senior Connections programs.
